Meadows Bank offers several consumer lending products to meet the needs of our clients.
Home Equity Line of Credit
A Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) is a revolving credit line that uses your home as collateral. Upon going through the underwriting process and obtaining credit approval, a HELOC gives borrowers a line of credit in which to draw funds from as needed. You are required to make monthly payments to pay back your loan. Since you may not be borrowing the full amount offered, you’re only making payments on how much you actually take out.
Overdraft Line of Credit
An Overdraft Line of Credit is a feature offered by banks to keep your checking account from being overdrawn and incurring a fee. An overdraft occurs when you write a check or swipe your debit card but don't have enough money in your checking account to completely fund the transaction. An Overdraft Line of Credit is accessed when there are non-sufficient funds in your account and/or to pay transactions that would have otherwise triggered an overdraft fee.
Other Installment and Short Term Loans
Installment loans are a type of loan that you repay through regular, scheduled payments. Payment amounts are set beforehand (or fixed) and are due at regular intervals. Installment and Short Term Loans are often used for purchasing items like automobiles, boats and recreational vehicles.
